I know Alabama is a 7 point favorite @LSU
That being said if LSU pulls of the upset this weekend the top spot will really open up for the Big Ten more than likely for the rest of the season.
That should only help the cause for 2 Big Ten teams making it to the playoffs. Obviously we have to win out or we don't make it to the playoffs. However if Alabama loses and lets say Michigan wins out until we beat them in the Big Ten Championship game the Big Ten has a much better chance of sending 2 teams to the playoffs. If Clemson would actually lose a game they have been outplayed in it will make things more promising for the Big Ten. I think the Playoff of field will potentially look like this (assuming LSU beats Alabama but Alabama wins the SEC Championship)
1. Alabama
2. Washington (assuming they don't get upset if they do lose then ACC champ makes it)
3. Wisconsin (Assuming we run the table and beat Michigan in Big 10 championship game for their only loss)
4. Michigan
If Clemson doesn't lose and wins out:
1. Clemson (I don't think they are worthy but if undefeated the committee will give in imho)
2. Alabama
3. Wisconsin
4. Washington (If Washington loses a game then Michigan
I think it is fair to say the Big 12 is not going to have a rep, and the PAC 12 if Washington loses will not as well imho
I will be cheering for the upset this weekend just to see a little playoff chaos.
