I have had high hopes for Pritzl since he was recruited. I thought his gunner mentality would make him another in a long line of Badger shooting guards (Brust, Bohannen, Bryant, Penney, etc) who would be deadly from 3, and really stretch defenses. And despite really lousy stats last year I still held out hope, mainly after I saw him make pretty much every shot he took in pregame warm-ups of the BIG tournament.
This year, I have been impressed with his rebounding, and defensive intensity, but he just wasn't making shots in the close losses. 2-20 in losses to Temple, Rutgers, first Nebraska, and Northwestern. But last night, and really since he got benched against Maryland, he has really been a difference maker, not only from 3, but influencing the game from both ends of the court. Keep it up Brevin, last night was your most impressive game in a Badger uniform.
