Tateoka was a starter this past season for St. Thomas and was set to transfer to South Dakota State before its coaching change.
He’s a former in-state kid from Waukesha South with two years of eligibility remaining. You can probably sell him on the opportunity to come home and compete at this level. Also fits in nicely with two years of eligibility left between Edwards (1 year left) and O’Neil (3). Wisconsin kicked the tires earlier this month but nothing too substantial.
