Hi Guys

I'll be making it to the Rutgers-Wisconsin game on Oct 31st. It will be my first trip to Madison.
I will be driving from Milwaukee and have a few questions.

1. Where can I park for low cost most off the day? I don't mind walking a couple of miles to get to the stadium.
2. What's the best time to arrive since the game is at 11am?
3. What are the great places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Madison (preferably places with good vegetarian options)?
4. What are the great places to go to for pre-game and post-game?
5. What are the must see sites/events?

I've heard the madison campus is really nice with a great collegiate feel so my group will probably tour around the campus after the game for a bit also.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance! :)

All Madison street parking is two hour parking; if you park far enough away it's not really regulated. Worst case scenario you will get a $30 ticket

2. What's the best time to arrive since the game is at 11am?
Typically for 11am games I try to start to get downtown by 8:45 and parked by 9am, that way I'm downtown by 9:15-9:30. Have an hour and a half to eat brats and drink beer. Get there when you want based on those factors.

3. What are the great places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Madison (preferably places with good vegetarian options)?
Just go to state street for dinner when you are done with your game day experience, you can walk there and hundreds of dinning options.

4. What are the great places to go to for pre-game and post-game?
Typically I'll go to a bar on Regent or meet up with friends at a tailgate

5. What are the must see sites/events?
If you like the college feel, definitely make sure you walk down Breese Terrace rd, other than that enjoy the game and try to stay close to the stadium, no real must see events other than the game itself. Welcome to Madison and enjoy your time.
