Paul Chryst or bust

Haha, Ped state guys talking trash. You root for a team that allowed child rapists. That is all. Bunch of sickos

Two weeks ago most Pitt fans were ready to fire Chryst. He is not a great recruiter.

Re: Ignore the Pitt guys.

Ignore the Penn State guys, they worship pedophile enablers

And Rutgers should just learn how to play the game. We won't even discuss their basketball prowess, lol.

I'm pretty sure they already did.

If they weren't occasionally successful at keeping local kids home, they'd be a bad MAC team, at best.

Agree they pay an athletic director Top 25 salary, only to have a terrible football program and poor hires.

If they can't get rid of this guy, just fold the program and invest money elsewhere.

It is an embarrassment under Stevie Peder boi

[Bottom Line whether you want to hear this or not]: Chryst was going to be on the hot seat at Pitt had he returned for another year and wasn't successful again next season. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that he won't be more successful at Wisconsin, but Chryst and his coaching staff had a 25-25 record while at Pitt in 4 years.

There were other solid candidates for Wisconsin (IMO) (see below).

"We all"? You're speaking for every other Badger fan LeftyLarry. Do they speak speak for you too?

You wanted him great, and now you have him. Remember though regardless to how it turns out that you wanted him.

Well perhaps not everybody, but certainly the vast majority. The program needs stability and PC will bring that.

Yes I agree that every program needs stability, but it's harder to keep the same Head Coach at certain schools then it is at other schools. EX: Highest profile schools (i.e. Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, PSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Texas, FSU etc.) have it a lot easier in that regard unless they leave to become an NFL Head Coach. Barry Alvarez was a rare case in that he remained loyal when he could have left for another school. Both Bielema, and Andersen were successful, but they weren't as loyal as Alvarez, but hopefully Chryst will be as successful and remain loyal to Wisconsin.
