New Board Editor - July 1st

Going off of the announcement below thats its a well known editor taking over the board. That only leaves me with a couple guesses, but points to one major person. Going off the On3 relationship, and just a gut feeling on who it is.

My guess - Evan Flood.

Whomever it is will have an uphill battle over here due to all the lost subs, especially with the 1 month dead period.

OFF TOPIC Opening up the economy thread

OK, thought I'd start a new thread with the SOLE purpose of having a similar discussion about opening up the economy. I think we can stick to the same level of decorum we've seen in the closing thread.
Let's discuss the opening of the economy and what that might look like.

My view is that we'll need to social distance from large gatherings for a while but many industries could go back to work with new parameters at those places of work. I also think that the testing and tracking must be done in order to quell outbreaks. But I'm not paid to think about these things so I thought we could use the Bermuda principal of Badger board intelligence.

Here are some industries that could go back to work pretty quickly due to factors like being outside or not a lot of contact:

Construction
Landscaping
Real Estate Agents
Manufacturing as long as everyone keeps their distance and are monitored

I don't see sporting events, restaurants or much travel and hospitality happening in the next three months though..

Would love another nice thread thinking about getting out of this mess!

Update on the Future of Badger Blitz

Hey everyone,

We wanted to share an update on what’s ahead for Badger Blitz. Starting July 1, a well-known name and respected Wisconsin insider will be taking over the site. Due to contract restrictions, we can’t announce who it is just yet—but we’re confident you’ll be excited about what’s coming next.

In the meantime, we understand this transition month has been quiet. If you’ve stuck with us, thank you. Once the new publisher is in place, we’ll be happy to work with any current subscribers who’d like to receive a free month added to their subscription to make up for the downtime. Details on how to redeem this free month will be provided in early July.

Also starting July 1, you’ll have full premium access to both Rivals and On3, including read-only access to all message boards across the combined network.

We also want to take a moment to thank Jon McNamara for his years of dedication to Badger Blitz and the Wisconsin community. We sincerely wish him nothing but the best.

Rivals/On3 Merger going forward

Didn't want to post this is the well deserved flowers threads of Jon and Ben. What does the merger offer us as subscribers going forward? I havent seen anything regarding our subscriptions, what we have access to or anything in general. I feel that its close enough for us to have learned something.

Still expecting more good news from the OV weekend

Hey guys, I know its been a weird time with the site transition. The Badgers had a huge day yesterday nabbing three commitments but I don't expect that the fireworks are over just yet. There are still a couple of players I'm keeping an eye on that felt very strongly about the Badgers coming out of the weekend.
