Football Recruit year Grades - 3 year post review

With Nolan Rucci transferring it raises a question on just how impactful was the highly graded 2021 recruiting class. Barry stated he hoped to get 1/3 of the class to be impactful (staters as a minimum , hopefully high end), 1/3 role players and 1/3 no impact. So how did this class pan on to date?

Impactful: B. Allen, Wohlers, Mahlman, Halman, Peterson

Role Players: Ackers, Bell, Chaney

No Impact: Benzschawel, Pugh and remaining class.

Busts: Rucci, M. Allen, Bollers,

Seems that this class failed to meet expectations despite some impactful players from this 22 player class.

Here's what I really like about our team next year...

In no particular order...
1. The RB's we have coming in
2. The speed that we have coming in
3. Our WR's. Green was finally used in the right way today
4. The OL FINALLY played a good game. Could Rucci finally be a player?
5. Finally a TE presence!
6. Hopeful speed at LB
7. Much needed speed at DB
8. A much needed pass rush with the portal boys and recruits
9. Possibly Mabry or Evers stepping up
10. A MUCH improved OL....with depth!
11. A MUCH improved return game with Trech and Vinny

Talent get's talent, Let's show them what we got!

Interesting college football research article...

I thought this was interesting to think about which team has the largest fan bases (should a super conference determine who is part of or not part of the future of college football). I was hoping that Wisconsin would be included in the top 16 listed...somewhat surprised to see we are in the top 10. :)
