Definitely something different than what Wisconsin has on the roster right now. I like Fenderson as a 2026 option. Thought he looked very good over the two-day span.

FOOTBALL Wisconsin football announces recruiting staff updates

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin head football coach Luke Fickell announced three updates to the program’s support staff on Friday. Izayah Green-May and Brandon Rose will serve as Assistant Directors of Player Personnel and Jared Thompson assumes the role of College Scouting Coordinator for the 2024 season.

Izayah Green-May was promoted from his role as a Personnel/Recruiting Assistant on staff. Green-May, who played at Wisconsin from 2017-21 as an outside linebacker, appeared in 20 games as a Badger. A Bolingbrook, Ill., native, Green-May finished his playing career at Northern Illinois before a stint with the USFL’s Pittsburgh Maulers.

Brandon Rose joins the Badgers after spending the last three seasons as a Recruiting Specialist at Alabama. He has also spent brief stints with the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

Jared Thompson moves into a full-time role after starting his work with the Badgers as a recruiting student assistant in 2021. Thompson also worked with the offense as a student assistant coach during the 2022 season and slid into a recruiting and player personnel assistant role in 2023.

Cooper, Rabach and Raisbeck have elevated roles heading into 2024 season

MADISON, Wis. – A trio of coaches have been added to the Wisconsin football staff head coach Luke Fickell announced Thursday. The additions of Jack Cooper (Assistant Secondary Coach), Casey Rabach (Assistant Offensive Line Coach/Director of Scouting) and Eric Raisbeck (Assistant Special Teams Coach) gives the Badgers 13 total assistant coaches for the 2024 season.

Cooper joined Wisconsin in the spring of 2023 as a senior defensive analyst following a three-year stint as the defensive coordinator at the University of Rhode Island in the CAA. With Cooper leading the defensive unit, Rhode Island posted back-to-back 7-4 seaons in 2021 and 2022. Cooper began his coaching career in 2013 and has held positions at Nebraska, Central Florida, Yale, Southern Connecticut State and Salve Regina University.

A former Badger and NFL lineman, Rabach joined the Badgers' staff as a personnel assistant in 2022 before moving into director of scouting role in the spring of 2023. Rabach has played an integral part of the Badgers' recruiting efforts, helping the Badgers' land the nation's No. 23 recruiting class in 2024 according to 247Sports. Rabach played offensive line from 1996 to 2000 in Madison and 10 seasons in the NFL between stints with the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins. Rabach was a third-round selection in the 2001 NFL draft.

A veteran coach of more than 10 years in Raisbeck was elevated from his role as UW's Senior Special Teams Analyst. He comes to Wisconsin after spending four seasons as a special teams analyst at Penn State. During his time with the Nittany Lions, Raisbeck mentored long snapper Chris Stroll who received the Patrick Mannelly Award as the nation's top long snapper in 2022. Prior to his time in State College, Pa., Raisbeck spent one season at Utah State where he also served as a special teams analyst.

FOOTBALL Wisconsin Badgers 2024 Fall Position Preview: Offensive Line


Losing L. Nelson for the season hurts the depth. Starting five has to stay healthy again this season. Not sure who you trust in a game outside of Benzshcawel right now, and even he doesn't have much under his belt.
