* What they were ultimately able to accomplish EX: Recognized National Championship in one or more recognized polls of that era/season, won the Rose Bowl Game, etc.
* Star power EX.'s: NFL Draft picks If applicable, major award winners, All-Americans etc.
* Statistical dominance EX: Points Scored vs. Points Allowed
* Strength of schedule that season
* The parity that existed in D-1-A college football at that time
* The strength of the Big Ten in comparison to other major conferences at that time
