How would you use UW's depth?

The upcoming football season could be longer than any season on record. Now more than ever, we need to get depth.

Where I'd like to see depth used in the first two games:

QB: Locke has improved. I want him to see that translate to the field early this season.
RB: Let one freshman get meaningful reps in each of the first two games. Acclimate Walker. Limit Mellusi.
WR: Rotate generously on the outside to see who can catch 50/50 balls. Acclimate Trech. Limit Pauling.
OL: Get experience with alternative combos using 2nd team. Get lots of 2nd team reps.
DL: Limit your workhorse to the degree you can. Play Howard and Johnson as much as you can

What does "get more creative in the running game" mean to you?

This has been sticking with me. In one of the countless Fick interviews, he said repeatedly (enough for me to notice) "We need to be more creative in the running game."

Why do you think we need to get more creative?

What aspects do you think need the biggest injection of creativity (play calling, scheme, play design, personnel)?

Only got a few texts back from Louis:

1) What was the biggest difference from your first visit to Wisconsin in February and the one this weekend?

"We were able to spend more time together and they were able to show me how I would be use in the RB room."

2) Wisconsin only wants one tailback in this class and you're at the top. How does that make you feel and impact your recruitment?

"Makes me feel great knowing I'm the only 1 they are recruiting."

3) What was the feedback like from Coach Fickell and the coaching staff this weekend?

"The same... I'm the #1 recruit on their RB list."
