18 kids expected on campus this weekend. Badgers had 102 come for unofficials during camp this past spring. Expected to get to 136 this spring.

I count at least 13 players from the Badgers that could possibly be picked. I'm basing this solely on practice reports and past performances. Pius, Mellusi, Hallman (if he declares), Walker, Thomas, Lowery, Van Dyke, Wohler, Renfro, Huber, Mahlman (if he declares), Nelson, Thompson. Thoughts? I guess Pauling could declare also declare.

I don't think this exists. If it does, feel free to delete (and apologies). Based on Pat's follows, it looks like we're going after defensive linemen and wide receivers. We know we're also going after interior OL. It looks like we have a good shot at the Illinois transfer on that front. I'd be stunned if the Badgers actually pull a difference making DL or receiver via the Spring portal. The competition will be immense. Bags will be tossed. But here's to hoping against hope.

I'm still wondering why no contracts...

The NIL has become minor league sports. Why can't there be contracts between the two? The player and team have entered into a mutually binding contract for 1 year (essentially). Why can't we make that a 2,3,4 year contract with a player buyout or a university buyout? As of right now, the players have full control. How can the field be evened?
