We should have fired Chryst much sooner

That is painfully clear right now. He had us trending down every year. Despite his recruiting accolades, its clear he had no talent. The players sucked last year and they suck again this year. He tore down the wall around Wisconsin and began losing kids. He should have been fired much sooner when it was clear he didnt care about having recruiting department, he didnt care to fire his buddies (haerring) and never hired coaches to advance the kids careers. I mean he had Joe Rudolph as OC for the longest time. Joe Rudolph is the worst college football coach of all time and shouldnt be coaching OL let alone the entire offense. Inexcusable. We are in such a shit postion because Paul Chryst and all his drunk media friends covering for him. Thankfully we have Fickell going forward. I trust him to rebuild a hell of a lot more than Chryst. I think we all overestimated this roster greatly.

I'm just curious...

If Gard was fired, who would you want as a HC? A guy who pushes the tempo? A defensive minded HC? A recruiting wizard? The reason that I ask this is, how many years would you think that it would take to turn the program around? Do you think that it would be a 1 year turn around? 2,3,4 year? This is what LK and his staff are doing. They are taking a smash mouth team into a pass heavy team. Give them time. If 3 years into it, we're still at the same level, flame away, but please give them time

The offense is an embarrassment

All week UW and Iowa were a laughing stock in the national media and the Badgers were somehow worse. After all the promise of the air raid, this offense is still a joke. It’s not that hard to have a competent offense in college football.

This is the first time I have considered giving up season tickets. There is nothing exciting to watch and the stadium atmosphere is dead. Better ways to spend time and money.

Here's The Bright Side (Meh not really, just coping)

For all of those who think Chryst should still be coach after this, just look at the year Mertz is having. Pretty damn good. Had 423 with 3 tuddys and no picks today. He was totally misused and abused here. Even though the season is not going how we hoped, it was still time for a change. We don't have the personnel to run the Dairy Raid yet. And I think it's safe to say that Tressel may not be it. Definite downgrade from JL. Bright side is we are modernizing and should see positive returns in the future. Our team quit on our coaches last year. Lots of the same dudes. Gotta continue to turn over the roster and get guys who have the fire and the want to. No more complacency, no more entitlement. Work in progress. More work and more progress needed than anticipated. Still confident in LF.

Giant sucking sound

Coming from Camp Randall...
Air out of the balloon...
Season ticket interest..
Big donor interest...
Goals for the season....
Hope for the season with a bu QB...
BA gotta be the softest 245 lb back ever.l, his draft prospects dropping like a rock...

That ...... Was ...... Awful. PERIOD.
NO improvement from this team, coaches and players. Color me completely unimpressed.

The Players and not the coaches blew this game

Like everyone, I expected more offensive creativeness. But let's face it. Our Defensive players were playing an inept QB. And they knew the ball was being run at them. I saw so many missed tackles by our Linebackers and Safeties it made me sick to my stomach. Many that were not even blocked!!

Locke's lack of mobility is ridiculous, he is not the answer especially against legitimate defensive teams like Iowa.

Braelon Allen might have been hurt but his lack of wiggle and creating big plays were not there when needed. Why did we stop attacking deep? Bryson had the size, heck a jump ball with him was better than our 3 and out punt drives the entire dang game.

We don't have the talent needed on Defense imho, and the Offense simply did not execute (QB throwing the ball short, WR's not coming back to the ball)

Our players simply did not do the little things today and Iowa's did.

They just beat us with a QB with no mobility 6-14 for 37 yds and their top TE's injured SMH

Not sure where Nick Evers is on the depth chart but if Mordecai is out then give him a chance at least we'll have a mobile QB that doesn't look like he is crapping his pants in the pocket.
