In reading some of the comments about players not fitting scheme or scheme not fitting players, I'm curious if the Den wished LF used Deion's approach of immediately turning over the roster to fit the new scheme.

The approach we took will take some time to put in the right type of players. Deion's approach may have meant a mass exodus of loyal players but potentially a shorter timeline to success.

Thoughts?

Why do we keep playing Klesmit over Blackwell? Is Essegian still hurt? Is Illver a legit sub? For me, Klesmit is a gritty player, just VERY limited both offensively and defensively. Why are we playing Essegian when he's nowhere around 100%? Just let him rest! Illver isn't playing much, but he's been in fairly early in games. We all know that he can be a great shooter, but is he ready defensively? Personally I think that Hodges will be asked to leave. Next year, we have Freitag and Robison coming. We lose Wahl, but that's no big deal. I don't think that Robison will be a contributor but Yalden will be. My prediction for this year, we sneak into the tourney, but next year, we make a good run!

I just visited with him at his school. He’s looking forward to seeing all the coaches and building on their relationship.

I'm not on the fire Gard bandwagon (yet), but it seems that Mac has a quick leash. So if he does get fired, who do you want to replace him? Is Krabby an option? Personally, I don't think so. He might be a great coach, but I would think that Mac would go nationally for this one. Do we ride out the year just to keep Freitag? We only lose Wahl, so we should be loaded next year! Thoughts?

Whatever your thoughts on Iowa, this is a huge loss for them. He was their best player. Unbelievable that Iowa sits in the driver’s seat to win the west -

@Jon saw that Chez isn’t mentioned on the list of seniors being honored on Saturday night. Was that a typo (like the Jordan Turner thing a couple weeks ago) or should we read into it?
