Board is awfully quiet

Let's get pumped up for the year. I'll throw out a couple of questions to get some banter going.

What will be their record this year?

Where does UW land in the new B10 in 2024?

What is the "trap" game?

When will the offense get into full gear?

Will Mordecai be the guy this year that takes us to a new level?

Will Dupree stay with his commitment?

Anyone going to WSU?

Stanford

I can only imagine what the for UW coaches and current recruits from WI are thinking with Stanford essentially without a conference now. Do they go independent? Never seems like many fans in the stands there so I wonder about their revenue stream. Sad situation for such a strong institution.

Fall Camp

When is the next practice and is there a schedule posted somewhere?

The coverage has been amazing! Love the energy in camp. I really wasn't sure the team would be able to carry that high of energy during a tough week.

I remember what my friends on the team would look like after coming back from the Sem during Barrys first couple of years. I don't think there last practices were full of that much energy but I think they spent a lot more time on the field.

O/Us this Season

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on the following Over-Unders compared to last year's production:

O/U: Sacks (last year UW had 31, 4th in the Big Ten)

O/U: Interceptions (last year UW had 15, 2nd in the Big Ten)

O/U: Yards allowed per game (last year UW allowed 202.3 yards per game, 7th in the Big Ten).

I don't think we'll have the same sack numbers as last season. Everyone knows Benton is a big loss, but I think he's a much bigger loss than most think. I just haven't seen anything to believe Mullens, Johnson, Paez and Thompson are more than just bodies on the DLine. Hoping to be surprised by the aforementioned or someone else.

If sacks drop off, INTs probably do as well - however I think we'll have close to the same number as last year. The secondary has been overhauled, but as everyone knows the secondary's performance is usually downstream from the DLine.
