NIL Funding vs Athletic Dept Funding

I'm curious to see how donations/funding that is now funding NIL impacts athletic depts. I know UW Athletic Dept has relied on donations to balance their budget in past, and if this money now goes to NIL, what will the implications be if they are not able to balance their budget. What are the implications? Cut non revenue sports? Reduce $ to support the student athletes (like meals/clothing...). Would football teams quit going to bowl games that don't generate enough $$ to offset the costs? I would also guess it costs a lot more to send teams to the East and West Coast now. What impact will the NCAA lawsuit that came down in July impact individual schools? I believe that was $2.78B that goes to former athletes...Will the pool of money from the new TV deal be enough to offset all of this?

FOOTBALL ***WISCONSIN vs. RUTGERS GAME THREAD***

Can the Badgers ride the momentum after get a road win today?

OL

The last 2 weeks, the OL has totally kicked a$$!

Purdue 's defense was suspect, but you could could see them give up in the 2nd half as the OL wore them down.

Against Rutgers, I think the O Lineman were personally offended to a man when the only thing they heard all week was how tough Rutgers was and we had lost that identity.

AJ has definitely got the OL going in the right direction and I don't think it is a coincidence that the offensive production has risen with the improved play of the OL.
