FOOTBALL RECRUITING Rivals Rankings Week: Ten biggest risers in the Rivals250

Moved up: Scott is new to the Rivals250

Scott has been steadily rising in the rankings and now finds himself solidly in the Rivals250 after an impressive offseason. The physical Wisconsin commit out of Ohio brings a versatile skill set to the secondary.

Scott has the tools to play cornerback – boundary, field or nickel – or safety and he’s shown the ability to be effective playing in zone or man coverage. He is a strong tackler who does an excellent job breaking on passes thrown in front of him. Scott does a good job of finding the ball while it’s in the air and making a play on the pass.

Badgers are likely set at safety with Scott, Dean and Emmerich. All three bring a unique skillset to the table. I also think Remington Moss projects best to safety, but he'll likely get a crack at cornerback first.

Can Wisconsin take both Schaper and Posa? That will be something to watch in June. I don't think there's any scenario where Posa is on the outside looking in if he wants to commit.

Nine players are scheduled to visit, but I doubt all nine make it to campus. Will be interesting to see how those dominos fall in June.

Can Wisconsin close on Woods in June? That would be the best case scenario to finish this outside linebacker group.

Closing with Watts, Powell and/or Davenport would be pretty significant for the Badgers. All three likely have the ability to play guard or even center, if needed.
