The news of Cameron O'Neil cancelling his visit this weekend now makes more sense.
According to a source, Michigan receivers A.J. Abbott and Taj Mustapha will both be back in Madison this weekend after camping and earning offers last weekend. The coaching staff feels they can close both out and complete their need at the position, according to a source.
Should Wisconsin get both, I was told the staff would cancel Aron Cruickshank's visit on June 20.
From O'Neil's coach earlier in this day: "They told him (O'Neil) they already had two WRs commit, so he didn't go."
The source also indicated that should numbers to tight, they could close down the cornerback position. Nose tackle remains a huge need, according to the source.
